About
Johnny Gibbs, M.D., specializes in general orthopedics, sports medicine, arthroscopy of shoulders, hips, and knees, joint replacement surgery and fracture care. Dr. Gibbs is board certified in orthopedic surgery and has a certificate of advanced qualification with a subspecialty certification in orthopedic sports medicine.
During his time in Florida, Dr. Gibbs was team physician for the University of South Florida, Florida Southern College and St. Leo University. He also served as a clinical instructor for the University of South Florida/Large Medical Orthopedic Surgery residency program.
Dr. Gibbs says he is passionate about enhancing the quality of life of his patients through innovative surgical and non- surgical treatments with a thoughtful and personalized approach.
An avid golfer who enjoys CrossFit, Dr. Gibbs and his family are huge Tampa Bay sports fans. He and his wife have two children and two rescue dogs.
Dr. Gibbs treats patients age 5 and older.
