Matthew C. Pflederer, M.D., is a non-invasive cardiologist with Alabama Cardiovascular Group, an affiliate of Grandview Medical Group.
Dr. Pflederer's areas of interest include:
- Cardiac imaging (echocardiography, cardiac MRI, cardiac CT, nuclear imaging)
- Cardiovascular genetics
- Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy
- Cardiovascular disease prevention
Prior to joining Alabama Cardiovascular Group and the medical staff of Grandview Medical Center, Dr. Pflederer was on the medical staff of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He served as an assistant professor of medicine in the cardiovascular division at UAB.
In his spare time, Dr. Pflederer enjoys being with his family, traveling, watching his favorite sports teams and looking for opportunities to golf, play soccer, mountain bike, ski or play any sport for fun.
