Erin Showalter, D.O., is an OB/GYN specialist with Grandview Medical Group OB/GYN, offering care in obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Showalter has a special interest in high risk obstetrics, adolescent gynecology and contraception, general gynecology and procedural gynecology.
She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic OB/GYN (ACOOG) and the American College of OB/GYN (ACOG). Dr. Showalter is fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Showalter completed her undergraduate education at the University of Florida. She received a master's degree in biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida and earned her medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a medical student, she rotated with her now partner, Dr. Dale Greene. Dr. Showalter completed her OB/GYN residency at Oklahoma State University.
The variety of emotions, vulnerability and being able to be with her patients and their families in the best of moments and the worst of moments drew Dr. Showalter to the field of obstetrics and gynecology. She enjoys being able to care for patients in a clinical setting as well as a surgical and hospital setting. As a patient, you can expect to receive the care of a physician who truly loves her job. She takes pleasure in caring for all women, guiding and following them through various aspects of their care, and building relationships with her patients.
When not in the office, Dr. Showalter enjoys spending time with her husband and golden doodle, named River. She loves college football and cheering on the Florida Gators. She has a new found love for the NFL due to her husband’s love of the Kansas City Chiefs.
